The band is seeking to appoint the leader of it's tuba section and would welcome expressions of interest from suitbly experienced players.
As well as leading the section the appointed player will be asked to feature as a band soloist and in suporting the musical development of the band which is led by its Professional Conductor and MD, Owen Farr.
The band can also provide opporrtunities to develop teaching opportunities at its purpse bulit teaching facility and bandroom for those with an interest in developing their career in music education. The band enjoys positive links with two Universities in Cardiff, as well as the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
